An 18-year-old from Cumberland County was arrested following the shooting death of a man at a home on early Saturday morning.

Jah’lyll Lawrence has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 51-year-old Joe Williams, who was discovered shot to death at a home in Upper Deerfield Township, the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office said Monday.

State troopers arrested Lawrence on the same day as the homicide, police said. He was booked into Cumberland County jail on Sunday, according to inmate records.

Lawrence is also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Attorney information for Lawrence was not immediately available on Monday.
